Director Bill Allatante is casting for his next big production. He is looking to hire a cast of dynamic performers for the opportunity of a lifetime. There is only one catch. Casting and rehearsal for the production occur at his deserted resort, where anything can happen! Tempers flare and competition intensifies as the cast prepares for the big night. When one of the singers mysteriously disappears, the audience, police, and performers must work together to solve the crime. If you can stay alive during the rehearsal period, the starring role just might be yours! The cast of characters includes Shirley Topple, a former child star attempting to revive her career; Karen Sacony, daughter of the famous director Jorge Valenzuela Sacony; Jerod T. Baker III, a convicted bank robber; Teddy Calhony, the assistant director, and Eric Mills, an older actor facing his last shot at stardom.
This production includes tribute performances to some of Motown’s greatest acts!
The entire 1 hr. show is both interactive and improvisational. The performers arrive with an outline consisting of a beginning, middle, and an end. The audience determines what the show consists of outside of this, as their involvement is just as crucial to the production as that of the characters. The audience members will be divided into teams and have the opportunity to present their solutions to the crime at the end of the evening. Prizes can be given for the correct answers.
